The October 20 Business Portal release introduces invoice and quote templates that can be prefilled with the details you use repeatedly.

It also adds options for scheduling, reporting, customer records, and MyStore, plus event free trials and a fix for membership renewal tax calculations.

New Feature

Introducing Invoice and Quote Prefilled Templates

Invoice Settings now includes quote and invoice naming, prefilled invoices and quotes, and custom naming conventions.

  • Pre-populate invoices and quotes with items, name, title, due terms, notes, attachments, and payment methods.
  • Set custom naming conventions for invoices and quotes.
Gift Cards

Physical Gift Card Imports and Balance Reduction

  • Import and use existing unused physical gift card inventory.
  • Gift card balance reduction can be based on the purchase date.
  • Reduction amounts can be set in dollars or percentages.

The gift card balance reduction feature includes an associated disclaimer.

Reports

More Ways to Filter and Find Report Details

  • Filter the Tip Report by employee.
  • Use time-zone-aware time filters in the Daily Report.
  • View the last four digits of card, ACH, and gift card payments in the Order Report.
  • Search the Order Report using those last four digits.
Schedule

Availability, Booking, and Payment Updates

  • Availability shadow boxes have been added and are off by default.
  • Cancellation and appointment-booked notifications have been added and are off by default.
  • Selecting a timeslot in team view now prefills the employee or employees.
  • Use Family Prepaid and Cards on File for event payments.
  • Card on File and Tabs are now available for services.
  • Promoting a customer from the waitlist now allows a punch pass or membership.
Settings and Notifications

Booking Settings and Email Templates

  • Default Settings for Schedule now includes an option to allow team members to be notified about their bookings.
  • A Schedule Appointment Email Notification Template has been added.
  • A Service Confirmation Email Notification Template has been added.
Customer Records

More Customer Field and Profile Details

  • Customer Settings now supports Checkbox Multiselect as a custom field.
  • Customer profiles now show the customer's age, if set.
Products and MyStore

Product Categories and Appointment Options

  • Product settings now include an optional third-level subcategory for MyStore.
  • MyStore Services can now default to “Any Provider” or “Provider.”
  • “Find Appointment Options” now includes 30-, 60-, and 90-day options.
  • Use MyStore Manage to configure which appointment options appear.
  • Customers can register for event free trials in MyStore without logging in.
Events

Free Trials With Registration Controls

  • A Free Trial option has been added, with customizable required fields.
  • Waiver requirement sending options have been added.
  • Using a free trial creates a new business customer.
  • The system allows only one free trial per class, per email address.
  • A new schedule icon indicates a free trial.
Bug Fix

Membership Renewal Tax Calculations

  • Tax calculations on membership renewals have been fixed.
