The SIXPAC Workout section gives business users the ability to group together exercises and create a single workouts to build a comprehensive sessions.
Here you want to be succinct while also making it clear what the workout is. The title will be the first thing SIXPAC users see when looking through workout content. Title is a required field.
While you may leave this field blank, we strongly recommend adding a description that explains the purpose of a given workout, what muscle groups are used, addressing proper and improper form as well as any tips for increasing resistance or modifying workouts to increase intensity, and of course, any relevant warnings. Description is an optional field.
This is the image a user first sees when looking at your workout. What images you use for your content is up to you. The most common choice is a screenshot from the accompanying workout videos, but feel free to be creative and have fun with it. A Workout Header Image is required.
The Introduction video is essentially a video version of the description but with the added opportunity to really engage with users and show off your personality. An Introduction Video is optional.
Step by Step Workouts
Steps are used to give users step by step instructions on each phase of a the workout. For each step you have the option to specify a number of sets, reps, and/or amount of time. You also have the option to upload a video or choose an existing exercise video from your uploads. To add multiple steps, click the the + sign. Adding steps to your workout is optional.
A continuous workout video is for users who prefer to present their workout as one continuous session, rather than individual exercises. That said, we want users to find new and interesting ways to use the platform we’re building. So, feel free to be creative! Adding a continuous workout video is optional.
Wrap Up Video
The wrap up video allows you to give times on cool down and recovery, an opportunity to transition to the next workout, or to simply sign off with words of encouragement. A Wrap Up Video is optional.
Including a category, or multiple categories, helps users search through and filter workouts based on their fitness goals. You can currently choose from Adaptive workouts, Balance, Cardio & Endurance, Flexibility, Mental Health, and Strength and Conditioning. If you would like to see additional categories added, please reach out and let us know. Category is an optional field.
Adding a fitness level helps users search and filter workouts that they can easily do and are comfortable with, regardless of where they are on their fitness journey. Choosing a fitness level is optional.
Specifying any necessary equipment, or “No Equipment” helps users search and filter workouts based on the equipment available to them, or workouts they can do at home without any equipment. Equipment is optional.
Area of Focus
Specifying the area(s) of focus allows users to search and filter workouts based on their specific goals or needs. Area of Focus is optional.
Specifying Interests allows users to search and filter workouts based on specific activities. Interests is optional.
Cancel, Save as Draft, Save & Publish
Cancel – This is pretty straight forward, but Cancel will take you away from what you’re currently working on without saving your progress.
Save as Draft – Saving your content as a draft allows you to save your progress without publishing it. Only you can see the content you’ve created.
Save & Publish – This option will save your content and publish it, allowing all users to view your newly created content.
